Gateway Boulevard is now Wilder Road.

Call it another sign of progress. The big green sign over Highway 24 that used to announce the Gateway Boulevard exit now reads “Wilder Road.” It might take some getting used to, especially if you’re a commuter who has passed under that sign and listened to local rush hour traffic reports every day for years. But it’s a change whose time has come.

Last year, the Orinda City Council voted to change the name of the road and, consequently, the exit. A logical decision in our opinion, for the simple reason that Wilder Road takes you right into Wilder.

In fact, you can take this exit now to preview the home sites, peruse Wilder’s exclusive custom home designs and watch this new community take shape right before your eyes.

Start your tour at the Ranch House any day from 10am to 5pm. Just take Highway 24 to the Wilder Road exit – located between the Caldecott Tunnel and the downtown Orinda exit, and follow the signs to the Ranch House at 2 Wilder Road. We recommend that you schedule an appointment with Gerry Bakalian or Robin Rogers by calling 925-254-9900. You may also send an email to gerry@orindawilder.com or robin@orindawilder.com.
